magic mountain

September 12, 2006 by Jane

On my second cup of green tea today. It’s been twelve days without coffee. I have developed a small chest cold recently, but my skin may be clearing up. It’s hard to discern any real effects until thirty days have passed, though.

I have my new black trench coat, and it’s a beauty. Fits marvelously, gorgeously made, dashingly cut, will last decades. Just have to keep it safe from the cats and their sticky, sticky fur.

I think I will probably go home early today due to the yucky lungs. I need to rest up and get better in time for my dental appointment tomorrow morning.

Last night I had a dream about riding on Muni. Only it was more of a roller coaster. Occasionally the cars were rattling along upside down, and then at one point the whole thing turned into one of those trams that rides on a cable in between mountains. We were crossing over the city and it felt like I was flying. I remember talking myself into not being afraid.
