“missing words”

September 30, 2006 by Jane

I got out of bed at eight this morning, fed the cats, watched some Tivo while eating Cheerios, and started on the housework. Brian joined me shortly thereafter and we did a good job af cleaning the apartment. After all, houseguests next week!

After lunch, I went downtown to the main library and returned some books, then checked out a few more. Found two great books on hearing loss (research — my hearing is fine). The majority of the books on this subject are about deafness and sign language, but that doesn’t apply to what I am writing about. They are actually totally different conditions. I found these books on Amazon, and then looked them up once I got to the library. Once again, the SF library’s search engine is painfully unintuitive.

My pigtails look awesome today.

The Giants have one more game left. What a disappointing year, and what an inauspicious finish, too. Ugly.

OMG I am so drinking coffee tomorrow. Hurray!

My skin looks great. Why? Is it because I avoided coffee all month? Is it because the skincare line I have been using is really working well? Is it the facial? Or is it just that my period is a day late?
