pedometer

October 3, 2006 by Jane

A friend of mine linked to a cool site today: An online pedometer that uses Google Maps. I quickly found out that the walking distance between my house and the Cole train stop is 1.3 miles. This thing makes a LOT more sense than using driving directions, especially if you don’t care about taking the fastest route or if you don’t need to worry about one-way streets.

I didn’t sleep well last night, and woke up with a headache. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and laying there for a couple hours, half-awake. So then I end up starting my day cranky and tired. I don’t know what’s going on with my brane. And before you say anything, no, it’s not coffee, I had my last cup yesterday at 1pm. And this was happening last month, too. Maybe I am just not getting enough exercise. Maybe I just have a lot on my mind.

My back hurts. I need a walk. Supposedly it will rain tomorrow. I look forward to it; we haven’t had any rain here in many months.
