a good night to stay in

February 14, 2007 by Jane

I think I found the recipe I was looking for… I knew it involved rice, an egg, ground turkey, and tomato sauce. This is close, though I plan to not use the garlic (Brian’s allergic) and add pine nuts because I love pine nuts.

I have a Trader Joe’s yellow cake mix at home… I could make it tonight except I’d have to go buy some cream cheese for frosting. I dunno. It might be too much kitchen time instead of snuggle time.

We got engaged three years ago today in Monterey, CA. I remember the drive home after that, feeling so excited and wanting to call everyone.

Today has been nice. I carried my gorgeous red patent leather purse, wore some red lipstick and a bracelet with a little bit of red sparkle in it. I visited Brian after lunch and he bought me a mocha.

I hope to finish my crossword puzzle soon, but even if I don’t, I know I can make up for it tomorrow. “Melville’s Tahiti story,” 4 letters?
