Apart from that, I spent a lot of the day writing. Dialogue is fun. It’s one thing I am most comfortable with. Which is why I am occasionally tempted to just do a screenplay instead. But then I realize that would be 1000x harder to sell, and that also I would have to say things like, “I am working on a screenplay” and feel like a total tool.

Tomorrow: file our goddamn taxes. Take another walk. Eat a good breakfast. Roomba. Continue working on this chapter, which involves this suave girl with strawberry-colored hair who can play guitar and ride a skateboard and smokes cigarettes. So I guess in other words, the opposite of me.
