Two of my favorite flowers, together at last. Yay springtime! I bought them yesterday during my walk to Cole Valley. There’s a corner market on Parnassus and Stanyan that always has excellent flowers.
Now I just have to figure out how to keep Simon from trying to eat them.
those are my two favorites as well! i love the smell of lilacs.
so two entries in a row were about flowers and cats on my friends list. crazy how that happens sometimes. unfortunately my other friend’s cat ate some lilies and they had to take it to the emergency vet because lilies are toxic to cats (something i didn’t know!). what is the deal with cats eating plants??
That’s hilarious! Tulips have long been my favorite flower, and I just today decided that I loved lilacs as well. Just so happens we are growing a ton of both in our backyard and we have a similar arrangement in our dining room.
