It is my cat Simon’s thirteenth birthday today…
I got him when he was seven weeks old from a “free kittens” ad in the East Bay Express. Sweetest buddy ever!
Speakin of sweet, one of my coworkers brought in a box of Beard Papa’s cream puffs. Guess who’s going running tonight after work! raises hand

He does have the best eyes. He’s very smart and his eyes have always expressed that. Sasha on the other hand, well, not so much. But still cute!

I did my elliptical a bunch this week, including twice today! I so want to be back to a size 8….
those pictures are so cute! i wish i knew what my cats looked like as kittens. we got them both from the humane society and one was thought to be in the range of 1-4 and the other was 4 or 5 at the time.
mmm naughty cream puffs…I’m trying to pretend the bastard doctors didn’t weigh me today…sigh. The weight they told me I am, is 15 lbs more than I thought I weighed, and I know I’ve lost 10 lbs in these past 3 months or so…I’m trying to pretend their scales are off. I looooove the last picture of you and Simon 🙂 Has much changed in his attitude from age 3 to 13? My kitty will be 3 or 4 this August…I think 4…I need to look this up 🙂
He is still super active and playful, even at 13. I chalk it up to the fact that he has an excellent diet (Innova brand food), he has a friend to play with (Sasha), and he has been continually showered with love and affection. He’s very smart and personable, which I think has also kept him very healthy and youthful.
