let’s get drunk

October 24, 2007 by Jane

The lasagne I made is so good, I will have two pieces! And two glasses of wine! Hic!

I got my library card and decided to be incredibly un-discerning about what I check out. Look, I don’t have a job, I have time to read three books. So I pulled a few things off the shelves, gave them a glance, and checked em out.

“Small Town Odds” — I liked the cover and the blurbs on the back. Hey, those really work! It’s a novel by some guy who lives in SF.

“Floor Sample: A Creative Memoir” — also had a good cover and compelling blurb. It’s an autobiography by Julia Cameron. Who?

“You Can’t Go Home Again” — Thomas Wolfe. Anyone heard of this guy? haha I’m funny.

Can we please not have a dull World Series? PLEASE?

Ooooh!! God I love that knot clutch so. But I can’t get one, especially when I don’t even have anywhere to take it. Maybe it will be my gift to myself when I get a job and we move to Seattle. MAYBE!! I hope you get it and post some pictures. It is absolutely the kind of thing you keep forever and pass on to your grandkids, or neices, etc.

How sweet of Roberto to ask about me! Did you give him my number? I know I sent it to you. He can’t talk me into anything right now, alas.
