+ My scarf (Brian’s scarf) is finished! Today I learned to cast-off and I also made fringe for each end using a crochet hook. I think it looks awesome. I will take pics of him wearing it sometime next week. Now I can start on a project for me: fingerless gloves. Supposedly “easy” to knit.

+ It has been a very gloomy and wet day, and I woke up with a sore neck. I keep trying to stretch it. *crick*

+ The printer I ordered off Costco.com on Saturday arrived today. Got an excellent deal on it and it’s already hooked up and working on our wireless network. I still find it kind of amazing that you can now get very good laser printers for under $200. Also got ten reams of multipurpose paper for $35.

+ Fact: if we didn’t want kids and weren’t trying to get pregnant, my life would be almost completely free of stress and grief. Interesting, huh. It sure is tempting.

+ Very much need to write today/tonight. The book has been languishing. If I am indeed not meant to create life, I must instead create art. So, gotta get on it.
