We put an offer on a house today. Strange and exciting. The concept of owning a building is still so magical and foreign to me. We are in a great position right now, the timing is right.
We’ll find out tomorrow if our offer was accepted. If it was, the ball starts rolling with the inspection, then financing, then escrow, then closing. Meanwhile Brian is going to SF for work Feb 4-8. Sigh. I hope that doesn’t bungle anything, but it should be okay so long as all parties sign on the line that is dotted.

awesome! i hope you get it. i doubt him being out of town will be too big of a deal, there is some flexibility with the process for things like that. plus if he needs to sign something it can always be faxed or scanned & emailed. we did a lot of our stuff that way and we were around!
