three cloves

February 5, 2008 by Jane

My husband is allergic to garlic, so when he goes out of town, I always make myself a big mess of garlic bread. Which is what I did tonight, mmmmm. I wear rubber gloves when I chop the cloves because while I love garlic, I loathe the smell it leaves on fingers.

I pre-made my lunch tonight, too: leftover garlicky spaghetti, an orange, some grapes, some almonds. Saving money on lunch & breakfast is going to be a big deal.

I hope that my morning and after-work commute walks will have a noticeable, positive effect on my ass in the coming weeks. You’re welcome.

Need to get out the door a bit earlier tomorrow — when I got to the park and ride at 7:10 there were only a handful of spaces left. People don’t screw around with that here, apparently.

And good night.

Garlic smell on fingers = gross.
Garlic itself? Super yummy! I love pickled garlic. Have you ever had home pickled garlic cloves? Too bad your husband is allergic. 🙁

And, yes, I totally wanted to know about your tightening ass. 😉
