I found a doggie on petfinder that I want to meet. It’s a female pup apparently rescued from Taiwan. However, there is something odd in the listing. They call her a Shiba Inu.

To ME, Foxy looks more like a black German Shepherd mix.

foxy is a cutie though.
From the size of Foxy’s feet I’d guess a very large (like over a hundred pounds) shepard/lab mix. The other one looks like an Akita (Sp?) which is kinda of a malamute/husky type.
It’s hard to be sure, but I think those are shadows making his/her feet look so large.
Yeah, that black pup looks an awful lot like it’s got a lot of GSD in it.

I’m going to ask to go meet her at her foster home.
If you have any advice/links about introducing a puppy to a two-cat house, that would be rad.

Petfinder occasionally has interesting ideas about what breeds dogs are. I think they just make stuff up if they’re confused.
