What looks horrible about them? I think the ones we got are perfectly suited for an indoor tree, they are very small but powerful, and use only a fraction of the energy regular ones use. But I got standard string lights to put around our front window frame, they are brighter and have a white cord instead of a green one. So they MATCH. Which is vital.
it’s so hard to explain but they look flourescent or something, like computer screens. There is nothing festive or twinkly or flattering about them. I hate them!

what color did you get? I went with blue and multicolor. Are yours mini LEDs or the bigger ones?
white. they’re big ones. they’re so awful! My mom gave us 3 strings of the more trad’l indoor/outdoor lights so I’ll switch the up this weekend.
what are you doing with the LEDs? You should donate them somewhere. /goody two shoes
well fortunately half the string burnt out so we may try and take it back to Home Depot for a return. /stingy.
