then we hitched to brighton via the M1 to see our friends' band
we being myself and mister socially inept
on brighton beach, andrew raines rolls a "cigarette" on one of my zines
the next morning, a skating trick was executed in the street
the following week, we all conspired to sneak into a rock festival
these guys were all that stood in our way
shortly thereafter we joined thousands for the beck performance
